We all love movies, so much so that we even go to the extent of following the characters that make up for it. However, something that is not really understood by many is what really goes into making such a hit for the silver screen. This is why Hollywood blockbusters are financed by studios who function as the main financial arm of a production. But financing is one thing and finding the other resources is a total other thing in itself, which have made certain people to specialise in those areas. Here are just some of the things that are considered by movie makers before the end product is released:

Even before the financing of the movie, something that is first considered by the producers is the script. These scripts serve as the main source for the movie plot and the dialogue that the actors have to follow. In Hollywood, there are a number of scripts circulating through producers, however, only a few actually come into fruition, since the quality and a good plot has to be present in the entire story set out in the script.

Once the script is selected, the next thing that is often done is trying to find a good budget that would make sure the picture comes into action the way the producers and the director wants it. For this, pitching the idea to a specialist video production company, such as Universal Pictures or 20th Century Fox, should be done. Of course, it goes without saying that these companies put in their own spin too through suggesting the hiring of directors that act to their liking. We can see that with a number of movies that have sequels, such as that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Cinematic Universe.

This is considered to be one of the most difficult tasks to do, since the cast is what makes the movie comes to life and gives it the meaning it should. In other words, a good story can be destroyed by a bad cast, and a bad story can be turned into something great with a good cast. Moreover, many casters look into how comfortable they are to try new things, depending on the character they are going to play. In addition to this, the casters look into how well they can cope with the scheduling. This is quite hectic since exceptional directors expect nothing less from perfection in their takes.

Once production is done, it is only the matter of releasing it to the public now. This is harder than it looks even for well-established movie series, as it is important to portray the plot of the movie along with the cast in it in a subtle way, but not so subtle that the audience watching it would be confused as to what they are going to watch. Finding the right formula for this can be quite difficult and requires quite some thought by the movie makers.

These are just some of the reasons as to why a particular movie actually takes more than a year to actually release in theatres due to the many intricacies involved in it.
